Our Goals for 2012

Intercessory & Prayer Ministry
  • To raise 200 intercessors to provide intercessory prayer support and partnership to all ministries, missions, church-wide events and weekend celebrations.
  • To have 50 new graduates for DUMC Prayer Track.
  • To have 25 new prayer teams in 24/7 prayerwatch.
Evangelism
  • For 1801 to know Christ and these be assimilated into cells.
  • To equip all cell members in personal evangelism.
School of leadership (SOL)
  • To have 500 new  graduates for SOL Level 1.
  • To have 100 new graduates for SOL Level 2.
  • To have 50 new graduates for SOL Level 3.
Community Excel Services (CES)
  • CES as a department will come alongside DUMC in mobilising members to be involved in Community Transformation through a two-pronged strategy of equipping and pilot community project. (For CES ministries, it includes volunteer recruitment, training and development.)
  • CES will pioneer and collaborate with others in Urban Community Development through various community projects and programmes.
  • CES will initiate, organise and run a School of Community Transformation to train both volunteers and staff of CES/DUMC, in basic Community Development principles, and be a platform for them to implement and express their learning. CES will be a partner and catalysts in some other related community training which may not relate wholly to our present agenda.
Missions
  • To train 100 MCPP-1 and 20 MCPP-2 candidates.
  • To send 4 MCPP-2 graduates for MIT (Mission Intensive Training).
  • To raise 2 MCPP-3 candidates.
  • 4To send regular short-term mission teams to Cambodia, China, Myanmar, Nepal, Sarawak and Orang Asli, West Malaysia.
  • To send 2 career and 6 tent-making cross-cultural missionaries.
  • To organise one missions conference and one missions weekend
